Alba Ambert was born in Puerto Rico. An award-winning novelist, essayist, short story writer and poet, she has also published several books for children, song lyrics and exhibited experimental word-art. She is currently Writer in Residence at Richmond, The American International University in London and a member of the Caribbean Women Writers Alliance (CWWA). Alphabet of Seeds is the first of her work to be published in the UK. The Passion of Maria Magdalena Stein is also a UK publication.
