A NEW MANGO SEASON CALL FOR PAPERS: The Caribbean Diaspora Issue

New Mango Season is a journal devoted to creative work by and critical studies of the work of Caribbean Women. Previous special issues of the journal have been dedicated to Francophone and Hispanic Caribbean Women’s writing. In this issue we invite essays, interviews, creative writing and book reviews on the subject of the Caribbean Diaspora.
The deadline for submission is July 30th 2008.

1. All electronic manuscripts must be accompanied by a printed hard copy, as well as a brief biographical sketch.
2. Please include a cover letter listing the titles of the submitted works and relevant contact information for the author, including an email address if available.
3. Each individual copy of essays, short stories, multiple-page poems or other prose manuscripts should be stapled.
4. The maximum word limit for any one manuscript is 3,000 words.
5. Manuscripts should be double-spaced. Please see a current sample of New Mango Season for sample style (www.mangoprint.com). In general, notes should be kept to the minimum and must appear as End Notes.
